Netflix announced today that season two of Stranger Things will launch Oct. 27. Additionally, Netflix released a new teaser for season two which promises that “1984 only gets stranger.”
The release date and tagline are only fitting considering that, as previously revealed, the second season will take place around Halloween in 1984.
“It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.”
New castmembers this season include Paul Reiser, Sean Astin, Will Chase and Brett Gelman.
