Winona is currently in New York filming The Experimenter, starred also by Peter Sarsgaard. The film follows the experiments of Stanley Milgram, an American social psychologist, who developed the idea of six degrees of separation and the infamous Obedience Experiments at Yale.

The experiments saw people follow instructions blindly and confirm to the point they were willing to shock their peers with up to 450 volts.
