In Curtis Mekemson’s new book “Hollywood Speaks Out on Tobacco,” Winona Ryder is quoted as saying that she doesn’t believe young people start smoking just because they see their favorite actors light up in films. “I don’t apologize for smoking onscreen,” she said. “It should be our choice, and I don’t think we influence people to smoke.”

Winona Ryder and Sa?d Taghmaoui (“Three Kings”) will star in “O Jersualem” for director Elie Chouraqui (“Harrison’s Flowers”).
The film, based on the book by Domenica Lapierre and Larry Collins about the creationof the state of Israel, tells the story of a young Palestinian and his Jewish friend and the tragic events that separate them. Filming is scheduled to begin April 10 in Greece.

According to Femalefirst, Kingsley who is divorcing his wife, Alexandra Christmann drowned his sorrows by chatting up Winona Ryder at an after-show party for Academy Awards ceremony. “Now you really must be afraid of me. I’m totally available,” he was quoted as saying to Ryder.
