Did you hear a “finally!“? Yeah, that was me, last night, when Winona showed up at the red carpet of the SAG Awards! Stranger Things, Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour was nominated but unlikely last year, they didn’t get the award for Best Drama Ensemble (that went to This Is Us).

Back in 2016 Winona attended the PEN Center Literary Awards Festival in Beverly Hills honoring the ‘The House of Spirits’ author Isabel Allende. Winona was chosen to present Allende with the Lifetime Achievement Award. I got access to some additional images from the event, as well some pretty portraits taken during the occasion. Last night the SAG Awards took place in Los Angeles, and Stranger Things received the biggest prize of the night, the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series (or simply ‘Best Drama Series’).
Winona, which rocked her best 90’s vibes in a custom Ryan Roche dress, was the sensation of the night. During David Harbour’s acceptance speech she rocked all the lovely facial expressions we love so much, and became an instant gif maker. Watch it:
