As previously announced, “The Iceman” was also picked for Venice Festival. The line up was announced today.

It was just announced that “The Iceman” was selected for the Toronto International Film Festival during the press conference held earlier this morning. Variety had leaked a list before, but it’s now official.
Special Presentation
Academy Award® nominee Michael Shannon stars alongside a stellar supporting cast — including Winona Ryder, Ray Liotta and Chris Evans — in the story of real-life mob hit-man Richard “The Iceman” Kuklinski, who was reportedly responsible for over 200 murders.
The festival is held September 6-16.
“The Iceman” Updates
According to director (and producer) Ariel Vromen, they had a test screening on the movie and it will just need a month to have the movie finished. He also announced the “The Iceman” got officially selected to both Venice film festival and Toronto Film Festival.
Sumatra Film official page has already a link to what may be an upcoming test scene/trailer for the movie. It’s directing us to a 404 page, but it worth checking it on weekly basis for some trailer news.
Winona Ryder, the iconic and talented Academy Award nominee actress, celebrated 25 years of career in 2011, and she has became an icon after her work on movies like "Heathers", "Beetlejuice", "Reality Bites", "Bram Stoker's Dracula", "Mermaids" and many more. Recently you saw her as Spock's mother in "Star Trek" and as the retired ballerina Beth in "Black Swan".
